Windows 7 :connect to printer

I have Windows 7 and the excel starter 2010. I cannot print any worksheets I use in excel. I can print from starter word alright tho. When trying to print an excel page I get the error message that excel cannot connect to the printer, epson c88.

If you click File in Excel & select Print, does your printer show there? Is it selected as default?

if M$ Words printing them M$ Windows is talking ok to the spool, printer, so you should not have a problem ie the printer works

Check the Control Panel / Printers and Faxes and see if this printer is default?
if not make it default

Se the the print option in M$ Excel to this printer as default - File / Print
Check the name Drop down box shows YOUR required printer and not some M$ default option ie OneNote or M$ Fax etc
