    How can I get sum of a field?

    Hi everybody,

    Good day to all. I am new in MS Access. I need you kind help. I’ve created a database(attached) where there are 7 tabs and 3 forms. I have to entry different country in the ‘Country’ field and I made a sub-form where the summaries of that country are shown. Now I want ‘Total Paid Amount’ against that country in the ‘Form Footer’ section of my database. Please help me how can I get it. I don't know whether I explained!!!!! Sorry for bothering.

    Hello
    If you wish to subtract the CreditedAmnt from the InvAmnt then place the following formula in Text Box 18 on your form:

    =[InvAmnt]-[CreditedAmnt]

    Then format to number format you require.

    I think this is what you are looking for. In your unbound text box in your footer, place this expression

    Thanks for your reply. I posted the expression in my unbound text box, but no result. As I attached my file, if you don't mind, can u post that expression in unbound text box? Sorry to bother you.
