subtracting a constant number to all cells in the same column

I am new to excel and I am trying to use it for inventory management. I am trying to subtract 10 dollars from every number in my Price column, what steps would I take to achieve this?

I am new to excel and I am trying to use it for inventory management. I am trying to subtract 10 dollars from every number in my Price column, what steps would I take to achieve this?

In an empty cell that you are not using, enter 10.

Copy the cell where you entered the number 10 (Ctrl-C)

Highlight the entries in your Price column

Go to Edit/Paste Special

Click on "Subtract"

Click "OK"

special and check subtract, OK
