a line accross the middle and that is were it freezes. How do i stop this

    Hi Sandy

You need to click in the cell 1 to the right of the column you want to freeze and 1 below the row you want to freeze

Eg to keep column A and Row 1 visible when scrolling click in B2 and freeze panes

you probably have your cell selection on A1 when you freeze this makes it
feeze in the middle of the screen
you need to have a cell selected below or to the right of the area you want
    to freeze
