    IF Option?

Using Excel 97, I am trying to create a formula that will filter data from another worksheet three times.

I need it to show only the total for purchases of "Type 3", that exceed $500, with an invoice date within the past seven days.

I tried using the Conditional Formatting feature...but this is a report that I will need to update often and the cell reports a "0" if I change any of the information.

Also, my boss will need to access the information when I am not here. He is not Excel literate and I really need the data to update without him having to enter anything.

This seems like such a simple task.....I can't believe I have not been able to do it!

HELP!!!! I used to be good at this!

Hi, Bill. Record a macro using the Autofilter-->Custom to get the Type 3
over 500. Then record another macro of yourself removing the autofilter.
Create two textboxes using the drawing toolbar. Make 'em purty for the boss.
One says "View Type 3 over 500" and the other says "View all". Right-click
and assign the appropriate recorded macro to each one. Don't forget he has
to enable macros to use the buttons.
