    One column with different widths

I want to make Column A with rows 1-29 one width and rows 30 and above
another width. How do I do this please?

    Calpitor,

I think that this can only be done by merging two columns in the case of the rows from 30 onward (This also assumes that the width of these rows is greater than the rows 1-29)
Set rows 1-29 to the width you require - if you don't know how to do this then you will need to place the cursor between the column headers where it says A (co,lumn line) B. The cursor will change to a double headed arrow and you can change the column width by dragging the cursor (There are other ways of doing this).
For the next bit you will need to have the MERGE ACROSS button installed on your toolbar. Place the cursor in a blank area of the toolbar and right click - Go to the botytom and select CUSTOMISE. In tghe FORMAT list almost at the bottom you will find the MERGE ACROSS button. Select this and drag it onto your toolbar.
Go to row 30 and highlight columns A and B, drag down for however many rows you want to format. Click on the merge across button. You can then modify the width of the combined columns by changing the width of column B

    Cheers
