Excel gets hungup when Copy Paste

In VBA. whenever I am copying a large 10000+ row worksheet and pasting a
copy of it in a new sheet, excel gets hungup, eventually it will
continue, sometime it will not. Even the "Create a copy" function when
right clicking on the sheet hangs up. Is there another way to copy the
whole sheet in vba that runs more quickly??

NOPE...no formulas....just massive worksheet.

what about using a database query to retrieve the data instead of a copy/paste?
