double click excel file doesn't open it

Hi'
I have astrange problem when i double click excel file, it opens excel but doesn't load the file. (excel opens with blank worksheet).
anybody can help

Hi

Try Tools/Options/General and untick 'Ignore other applications' (if it's
ticked!!)
