I'm trying to find the easiest way to format the rows containing subtotals only. If i just reduce the group to only see the totals and format that, it formats the rows in between as well. Is a macro or conditional formating easiest?

CF is easiest, but you may be limited in what you can do. Bold yes, font
size no.
