How do I protect the cell from users entering values in Excel?

Product: MS Excel - 2002, I want to restrict the viewers or users of the "a
particular cell" of excel worksheet to be read only and write permission

Hi Prasad,

For protecting the sheet:
Select the perticular cell / cells you want to protect. Then go to "Tools --> Protection --> Protect Sheet...

Thsi will ask you for the password. The give the password which you can remember. It will protect the sheet from editing.
