Please Help

I am trying to open an excel document and it is says that I can only open as
read only because it is locked for editing by user XXXXXX. The problem is
the user who it says has it locked is myself and I don't have it opened at
all. Can anyone help me with this???

Try closing Excel and start again

If the file is saved on a server, you probably need to have your IT people
check the file and remove the user.
