    Chart Export in BMP format

I'm trying to get the pictures off of an Excel sheet into bitmap files
(.bmp). I want the files in bmp format for subsequent import to an Access
    table.

I have Office 2003, on Windows xp Pro. I'm copying the picture to a
    chart, then exporting the chart.

I don't have a bmp graphics filter installed, only gif, png, and jpeg. So
FilterName = "bmp" doesn't work, and doing the export without a FilterName
    doesn't seem to work either.

Is there a programatic way to convert gif file format to bmp? Or an easy
way to get pictures from Excel to Access? Or an easy way to get a bmp
    graphics filter?

    Thanks!

    Hello MikeT,

If you have Microsoft PhotoEditor or a similiar program, you can copy the chart to the clipboard and paste it into the photo editor. You can then specify the file format you want to save it in jpeg, bmp, png, gif, etc. You can then open the files from Excel or Access.

    Sincerely,

Leith - thank you! Could you please elaborate on how to paste into
PhotoEditor or similar program, programmatically? Thanks again for your
    help!
