    YEARFRAC formula question

    Hello,

I am using the "=YEARFRAC(A1,B1,1)" formula to calculate tenure, where a1 is
the hiredate and B1 is a cell containing the "=today()" formula.

The formula works fine on my PC, but when I send the file to someone else,
they get an error msg. in the cell where the result is supposed to show up.

Does this have anything to do with the fact that they're on a LAN, and I'm
    not? I'm really curious.

    Thanks!

    Stilla,

The other user(s) may need to install the Analysis ToolPak. Is it the #NAME? error msg?

If so, go to Tools>Add-Ins. Select the box next to Analysis ToolPak. Click OK. The Add-In will install.
