V Look Up Annoying Function Help Needed

I have a V look up function on my spreadsheet and it has one annoying thing that I hope you can help with.

In all the columns where the look up values are pasted are the symbols
    #N/A before I insert numbers

Is there anyway I can set a lookup but not have the #N/A in each column and when a value is found for the box it just inputs the data I need it to.

    =if(a1="","",vlookup(A1,table,3,False))

is the approach I would take.
