I am setting up an excel spreadsheet to use for attendance tracking. What I
need to write a formula that will caculate every X to equal 2 hours and then
total how many hours that person was in class.

Can someone help me on how to do this?

=COUNTIF(A1:A10,"X")*2

adjust range as necessary
