i have a col. as a price sheet and i want to take the whole row and reduce
the prices by 36% how do i do it

This is one way to do it

Put 0.64 in an empty cell
Copy that cell
Select column of prices
Edit > Paste Special > Multiply > OK

In some empty cell, enter 0.64 and copy it (ctrl+c).
Highlight your prices and Edit > Paste Special, select Multiply and click OK.
