i have an apple laptop, and i'm trying to use the 'freeze panes' feature on a spreadsheet. for some reason, when i go to window, the freeze pane option is faded. how do i get it to work?

    Hi Greg,
You asked this question elsewhere, probably in another newsgroup, please
stick to one newsgroup, better yet post directly to a newsgroups instead of
    through a web based interface.

As was pointed out in the other thread, you have protected your worksheet
and can't add/remove freeze panes. You can turn off sheet protection and
change the freeze then reprotect the sheet.
