    add area code without editing

    Hi

    You can write a formula using the "&" operator (string operator), the get the the new values in a different column and finally copy-->value the results to the original column.
    For example: in column A you have "1234", you need to add "-ABC";
    in column B enter the formula A1&"-ABC". The resulta will be "1234-ABC". Now Ctrl+C B1 and Paste--->Value to A1.
