    Personal.xls

Recently I followed the instructions at
http://www.fontstuff.com/vba/vbatut07.htm to add the pop-up calendar to
Excel. Since then when Excel opens, "Personal.xls" opens, and I thought that
this would be "invisible", and that it would be a blank "Book 1" that would
open when launching Excel. Is there any way of changing this so that
Personal.xls works unvisibly in the background? Connie

    And then close excel.

You'll see a prompt asking if you want to save personal.xls (as a hidden
    workbook). Answer yes.

Yes, I know you can hide the window, but I thought this was to be automatic
when I launch Excel. I did not expect to have to hide it every time I open
    Excel. Connie
