cells don't upate

In Excel, cells with formulas stopped updating when the numbers in teh
formulas are changed. Any idea what would cause this?

Check in Tools/Options/Calculation that it is set to Automatic.

It maybe just that you're computer is slow, and the spreadsheet is large. I've created a numbe of documents where you literally had to wait two or three minutes for the cells to update.
