    Arrow is there a way to make dates simply be read as text?

    hi experts....
    is there a way to make dates simply be read as text? meaning as labels in charts?...not to be read as or converted into serial number?

    is there a way to make dates simply be read as text?

    The Excel function "TEXT" might work for you (which I believe can be
    used in VBA). In the following form TEXT(NOW(),"mm-dd-yyyy"), you will
    get a date of 06-06-2006 in text format. Let's hope the devil doesn't
    notice this ;->
