If i add a field to pivot tables ROW area it appears as a drop down.How to remove that drop down?ie all options should be shown no option for filtering should be given.

If you want to ba able to update your pivot table, I think there is no way;
instead you can Copy & Past Special, Values, but in this way the table is
not more updatable.

(I'm not sure of names of menues, option and commands, because
translating from the Italian version of Excel...)
