How do i use the "&" symbol in a header in excel?

Is there a way to use the "&" symbol in a header in excel?

Excel uses that symbol as part of its page no. etc header/footer references,
and simply ignores it when simply typed in.

just double the and && sign

Make it a double, eg type: Peter && Max
for it to show in the header as: Peter & Max
Let Excel swallow the first "&"
