Commercial Services New Posts/New Posts View

    @Arlette

    Hi Arlette

JB ask me to send these pics to you. I'm not seeing Commercial Services new posts in the New Posts View. I tried to PM you on this but your Mail Box is full.

    Hi, Arlette,

some TT hasnīt implemented this "feature" correctly is suspected by me to be the correct answer. You should start a poll on which Gurus have sight of this feature, my prediction is it will be close to zero.

    Ciao,

    I don't know...you tell me.

    You can see
commercial service posts in both the New posts page and the Whats new page
    JB can see the same.

I've seen discussion of this MANY times but I've NEVER been able to see the same. What gives?

There doesn't appear to be any difference, Holger. Same results are returned either way.

Also, I see the Commercial Services threads in the listings. Of course, I'm in the Moderator group which is probably setup correctly in that regard.

I don't see CS threads unless I choose to look at the CS sub-forum. And I don't choose to do that. In short, no big deal for me personally ... just adding to the vote.

I don't see any CS threads in the New Posts section at all. I see them only in the CS sub-forum

Yes, that time we had the split in work between Trisha and me, so it might have got missed. But now, since i am handling this again, i have already asked the tech team to make the change.

But the users who answer questions found it easier if they were highlighted in the New Posts and Whats new section. This helps them to identify which are the CS questions as questions were being answered by multiple people in the CS forum without anyone clicking on the Lock button. This was creating more managerial issues for the mods and admins.

Judging by this thread and others - I don't think anyone actually wants that change - why not have a poll in the vets forum?

Ok let me do that. If its only the mods who want it, let it be so. But lets have the vote.

OK, made my No vote ... hope it's not meant to be a secret ballot. Just to spell it out, in case anyone is unclear, I do not want to see CS threads in the What's New list, and I have no plans to answer questions there.

Happy for it to stay with Mods and Admins.
