New image attachment feature

I am recently starting to see images displayed inline in posts. This seems to be a new feature. Although I think this is a nice feature, many members are starting to use this as a substitute for attaching their Excel file. In fact, in one case the member had attached images and when I suggested attaching his workbook, he said he didn't know that was possible.

Can we make file attachment a more obvious, easy-to-use feature? Edit: For example, including the file attachment icon in the default edit controls, instead of requiring the user to "Go Advanced".
