    Talking Making a living from Excel?

    Hello everyone!

    Have you ever thought about making money with Excel? .... Could be designing Spreadsheets or maybe Add-Ins.

    Obviously... I would like to do that .... In fact, I have designed some tools but I don't know what to do with them.

    What do you think? Any experience to share? idea? Or maybe you're already doing it!

    Regards!!

    A.

    Hi Tony,

    Yes, I used a lot of screen captures - I have "Print Screen" by American Systems. I wrote the book in WORD and copy pasted the code on the right side page, usually, with the Text on the left (the even numbered page). I had to use VBA to set up the word configuration, which took a lot of trial and error - but I wrote it in 2000 and 2003 where the help pages are so much more useful. After writing the book, I bought "Smart PDF Creator Pro" (about $100) to convert each chapter to PDF.

    I hope this means that you're getting serious!

    In addition to xladept, I would like to recommend OneNote for capturing any desired part of the screen.

    OneNote.JPG

    If you see one note in your system tray (i.e. near the clock - Bottom right corner) like the below

    SystemTray.JPG

    Then you can press Windows+S and use your mouse to select the desired part of the screen for taking screenshot of that selected screen area.

    If OneNote is not shown in your system tray then just open the OneNote and minimize it and wait for 5 seconds it will get added in your system tray and use Windows+S to initiate Screen Capturing

    The above screenshots are taken using the OneNote Screen Capturing Method

    Oh, Tony, I forgot to mention that I used publisher to ensure that the resolution was 300 dpi or better

    @Fotis

    If you use IE 11 you might have to access this forum in Compatibility mode. I had all kinds of trouble until I accessed the forum in Compatibility Mode.
