How do you disable pop notification (see below)? Every time when I refresh my page, the notification pop just won't go away.

Thank you for subscribing to push notifications!

Thanks. I sorted it out after playing around with Firefox security settings.

    Hi
You may be able to Google yourself a clearer explanation, for example

This is what it looks like by me:

    Scroll down to further settings

Scroll down to Pop Ups. There you can chose to block pop ups

On one of my computers ( Operating System Vista ) it seems to have little effect strangely. The Pop Up still seems to occasionally cone up. But usually if I am logged in and click “close” when a banner comes up asking me to allow notifications, then after a while the Pop up seems to stop coming up.

On another computer, ( Operating System Windows 7 ) it tells me from time to time that it is blocking the thing

It is a dynamic problem as it appears it is experimented with from time to time at Excel Forum

If you cannot get rid of it, then likely it will go away on its own after a while.

    Hi SPARKY347
In the last few years we do not easily get to know much about what the “Management” are doing.
    http://www.excelforum.com/the-water-...-outage-2.html

As for the Pop Ups, they started “popping up” around June. This Thread pretty well covers it all, _..
    http://www.excelforum.com/suggestion...indow-tab.html
_.. , Untypically there is some Management comment there – That was just about the last most of us heard from them.
About the same time, There was a related Yellow Banner appearing which also did not go down to well with many people.
    http://www.excelforum.com/the-water-...cel-forum.html
The Management got such a lot of bad feedback back around June, that it seems to have put them off ever talking to us again, Lol... It appears that the Management, or Tech Team or whoever, experiment with things from time to time, but we rarely get any notice before of them. We usually notice when things start going wrong. As they often do. Mostly you get used to it.
The biggest problem is that some really great contributors have been lost due to endless problems accessing the site

    _...........

As of last night the pop-ups had settled down by me

How is the stand by you?

    Alan
