    barbecue love

it started on just being friends just waiting for the barbecue grill to be cooked at our backyard. yeah! that's how it started! I was a loner back then. I only concern myself with things that concern me, and i dint bother with other people. i enjoyed the company of my shadow and my dog, rusty. yeah! i love to drink beer while cooking some grills and eating it with my dog. one summer on my backyard lawn i did what i always liked to do. grill beef and pork during those warms summer afternoons. And so someone approached me on peculiar afternoon. she wears a long shiny hair and a smile that will melt even Hitler's stone cold heart. and so i fell in love with her and soon got married and made some developments by having babies! haha!! that how my love story started, pretty typical right?! but for me, it's amazing! tell me you love story guys! feel free!

What's with the strange proliferation of mushy posts by new users on Excel forums. Similar thing came up in the lounge @ Mr Excel a week or so back. No links to anything or seemingly trying to sell anything so they must be subliminal in some way. If I end up getting hitched I know who to blame!!!

    Re: barbecue love

I need expert advice for some very important, for me, question.

For I while I suspect that my wife cheat me and lot of things showing at that way. For example,
when I call her to her cellular she just hang up and don't want to answer. When we are together
and someone call her, if I answer at the phone I just hear end signal.

Then lately she started to go often with her "friends" on some coffee, and when I ask her with whom
she was out she said with bussiness collegues which I don't know so no need for explanation.

I try to see a taxi that drive her home late at night but I just hear it at the end of the street
but she always walk that few hundred meters so I never catch it. Maybe that's not even taxi at all?

Few days ago I took her phone to see what time it is and she completly freaked out, yelling at me to stop taking her things.
Anyway, up until now I didn't wanted to face my doubts because, maybe deep inside me, I didn't wanted to know the truth.

But last night I've decide to wait outside. I went out and hide myself behind my car where I could see whole street to see who drives her home at night.
While I was hiding I saw that my side bumper started to rust from the inside.

So my question is: should I replace whole bumper or just clean up corrosion and varnish it?

    Re: barbecue love

Just for the record, I have been cheating on my wife for years now. My affair is one that I have cherished and it makes me feel so warm! She is black, curvy, and I love her handles. My only complaint is that she can be really gassy and I sometimes have to scrub her really hard because she can be a really dirty one. I don't mind though, I love her and can't wait to enclose my meat in her warmth tonight. Oh barbeque, I love you!

Speaking of loving bbq's, has anyone here ever bbq'd lamb ribs? I tried not too long ago and wound up (regrettably) throwing them away because they created so much flame that they burnt on the outside well before they were cooked on the inside. Anyone know of any tricks to cooking lamb?

    Re: barbecue love

I never tried putting just ribs on bbq... But I did whole lamb as you can see first photo in the post http://www.excelforum.com/2533918-post14.html

Secret is in salt and moderate heat with long term rolling. We also sprinkle it with beer from time to time to get red and crispy skin So I belive it's a same with partial baking... On the moderate heat, not too strong... Otherwise you'll get burned outside and raw inside.

Edit: Here's another view... You can see that flame is far away from a meat and juice that you get from it you can use again to sprinkle the lamb...

    Re: barbecue love

The key to cooking lamb on the grill is to sear the meat on all sides for only a couple of minutes to seal the juices in. If you are using coals, make sure that they are on only one sided of the grill or pit. Move the meat to the side that has no direct heat. (easy if you use a double gas grille). Let the meat cook to internal temperature of 125 degrees Farenheit. I know that you excel guys in Europe can convert this even without VBA. Remove the meat, tent it with foil for about 10 minutes and serve. I don't do lamb ribs, but I do grill a leg of lamb (have it boned and butterflied) regularly. If you want my marinade recipe for the lamb, let me know and I will post it. Summer finally arrived in Chicago this week.

Thanks zbor, I just ate lunch and that image is making hungry all over again.
Thanks for the tips. When I tried to bbq the ribs I had them over gas flames, like I would do other meats. I understand now that lamb needs indirect heat.
