    Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen,

    i have a quick question...

    a few days ago i was given a solution to a problem.

    Reply was excellent and i marked it as SOLVED.

    i have another query about the same problem. do i resubmit and remove the SOLVED.

    or create a new thread.

    my genuine apologies for not Knowing.

    I suggest you start a new thread & add a link to the original post, you cannot remove Solved yourself

    If the solution you received didn't actually work, it might be better to reopen the question for future searchers. If you can tell us where it is, and what the issue is, we could reopen it for you, if appropriate.

    TITLE Input data to a specific record in a S/sheet
    Posted 6-7-2011.
    the macro works....but...i didn't mention that the URN would not be in sequence and would contain letters and wouldn't be in the first Column.
    the reason i mention these two things is that i think that these are the two issues that are preventing the macro working in the actual sheet. the sheet i put in the thread was sample data, actual sheet to large.

    whatever you can advise

    If the solution worked for your sample data, then please start a new thread since effectively your question has changed.
