Thread: Does grey point reduces your reputation?

Just noticed that my points has gone down significantly in the last 8 hours. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? I am wondering if grey point reduces the reputation.

Yeah, we've noticed (happened to me too):

I've already posted that the grey boxes are due to rep pwer, it isn't new & has been occurring since the rep system was started.

Roy, the complaint here is that now the system seems to actually be deducting points from users when they get repped by newbies... so something has been altered in the rep power assignments..

maybe it's less important a "thank you" that comes from someone who has one or two posts!

Something certainly changed (and not with the original """"upgrade"""", more recently). I don't ever remember getting any grey rep before then I had three in a row last week. I believe that the value was zero, I don't think the rep went down......but I'm not sure about that.

Still if the rep system was the only thing here that didn't work I'd be a happy bunny!
