Strange Message

I've just received this from Excel Forum:

The chill is settling in most parts of the world. Its going to be a wonderfully snowy Christmas.

For most of the world, the first statement is the opposite of what's happening. All of the southern hemisphere is going into summer and/or its monsoonal/wet season - the latter bringing only a small respite from the heat of the dry season. For a significant additional portion of the northern hemisphere, 'chill' is hardly a fair description of the increased temperatures they'll experience now that the northern monsoonal/wet season is over. As for snow, only a relatively small part of the world is likely to experience 'Christmas' that way - most people in the northern hemisphere don't even celebrate Christmas! Whoever wrote that piece needs to get out more...

Yeah I laughed when I read that too. At best it's going to be settling in 50% of the world
