Lately I come across a lot of question regarding
Date & Time.
I've just drawn up a document (as a start) explaining date and Time in Excel.
Hope you all can add your stuff to the document so we'll have a nice reference.

Ricardo, what a great idea. In order to make it easier for people to decide whether or not to download and study the workbook and its formulas, I think it might be beneficial to add some kind of Table of Contents in the post.
I'll do this here, and maybe everyone who adds something to it should enter a brief description of the additional item in their post as well.
I've added a screenshot of the Regional and Language settings dialog from a (NZ) English XP machine, for reference.
Table of Contents
1. Explanation of Time and Date
- how time and date is stored and displayed in Excel
- ways to format and identify times and dates
2. Time sheet, normal time, overtime and pay calculations
demonstrates calculation and formatting for
- weekday (Sun, Mon, etc.)
- simple date
- shift/work start time
- shift/work end time
- hours worked (time format and decimal format)
- calculated pay for regular hours
- calculated pay for overtime
- pay per day
I've added:
3. Converting Text to Dates
some sample dates stored as text and how to convert them to real date values.

Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.
