[Solved] MP3 tagging change in Wind7

    Morning all,

This is a bit of an odd request. I am in the process of retitling ALL my music which I've converted to MP3, however, I've only renamed them in Explorer (Filename.MP3). When I pull my music into iTunes or Media Player it seems to call up the tags (which is still the old unchanged names). Is it possible to, for multiple files, to have the tags changed to have the filename?

If it was only a couple of files I would have done it by hand, but I have MANY files...

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Morning Alan,

Thanks will give it a try. Otherwise I came up with another solution last night, in win7, select all the songs in a folder, right-click, properties, detail and then click clear all properties. When I then import the songs into an interface, the name as I gave it, comes up.
