Thread: How do i remove icon from my task-bar ?

HI all,
when i remove it it keeps coming back it's in my fire wall telling me i have a virus and blocking web pages /my pc has windows xp this all started when i downloaded satellite TV on desktop and google earth. my virus program is weighting a special cleaner, thanks

Which icon?. What does is say when you put your mouse pointer over it, or right click on it?

It's probably a TRS loaded at boot time and if it is your firewall icon (usually a shield type shape), you don't want to get rid of it.

If malicious software is a concern, try running an 'on-line' scan such as Trendmicro Housecall... can take a long time on large heavily loaded hard-drives!
