Re: How can I remove "Thumbs.db" files from my Computer?

    Hi shanew,

It is probably not the same file, it is a different file (although the same name) for each folder containing images. It generates (perhaps obviously, because of the name) thumbnail views for each folder and often comes in handy.

You can, as shg says, delete them or you can prevent them being created in the first place. I think the setting to turn them off is in 'Tools' in your desktop explores where you should find an option to turn them off/disable them.

    Good luck,
    J.

They are not viruses, but a feature of the file system. If I were you I'd leave them alone.

At Excelforum, you can say "Thank you!" by clicking the icon below the post.

Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.
