Add tab to the point where text changes to italics

I have some lines of text, separated either by a manual line break or a paragraph mark, that look like this:

normal text (now) starting text in italics
some more normal text and more text in italics

And I want to add a tab character just before the text changes to italics:

normal text	(now) starting text in italics
some more normal text	and more text in italics

You can do that via Find/Replace. Simply specify italics for the Find expression and use ^t^& as the Replace expression.
