Linking Charts to a Word Template

    Hi there

Bit of a long winded explanation of my problem, I am sure someone out there has had the same problem.

I am trying to improve a Word Management report that contains a large amount of Excel waterfall graphs and tables that I complete monthly.

It takes me a huge amount of time each month to cut and paste the Excel information into Word, so I thought I would copy and paste the tables/graphs as links into the word document.

The tables/graphs are updating as they should, but the problem I have now is that the Word document and the corresponding Excel data are kept in a template folder so when I save the entire folder into the corresponding month I need it for I lose all the links.

My question is - Is there anyway I can save the word and excel folders from the template into the monthly folder without having to relink all the tables/graphs?

    Thanks

    Lesa

thanks for that, I have never actually used VBA before so might be a bit out of my league, will give it a go though.

    Cheers
