Unhappy copying charts from excel to word

I am copying charts from Excel and into Word. I would like to know how to maintain the legibility of the titles and axes words/number of the imported charts when I have to resize them to fit the space (usually smaller - I click on the corner and drag to make smaller - then the words are all distorted!)

    Help!

Re: copying charts from excel to word

    Hi,

you may have to prepare a set of charts in Excel for the sole purpose of copying and pasting to Word. You may want to make the titles, labels, etc. bigger, so they don't lose their legibility when you resize them in Word, or, you may want to create charts in Excel that already have the correct size for the Word document's needs.

Avoid pie charts with more than two data points. Why? See here (pdf, 559 kb). The only acceptable pie chart is here.
