We have few teams in a project and each is creating its own set of document. From each of these documents we draw some information which goes in a final report.
Is there a tool/method by which I can make sure that any updation in the initial reports gets updated in the final report.
Link the relevant section of the individual documents into the master report.
If that does not help, provide some samples for the helpers here to work with.

Thanks for the help, I am using Word 2003 and was unable to link as its kinda hidden. I am able to link the file now.
Is it possible to only link a section of file ?
