    Separate letters after mail merge

    Hi I m using below code for separating the letters and it works well, i just want to add Datafield so that each letter is saved with a serial no & particular name eg : 1 Mr J smith, 2 P Adam, however i unable to get DataField this code is placed in Word Doc to split the record

    After a mailmerge there are no data fields in the output document to interrogate. Accordingly, you have to tell your macro where to find the data (e.g. by a paragraph reference). You also can't use bookmarks, because they too don't survive a mailmerge.
