Thread: Save as file format

I am trying to save a temporary copy of a document to attach and send as an email but i keep getting the error;

Error '91':
Object variable or With block variable not set

Here is the line i keep getting the error on

        .SaveAs TempFilePath & TempFileName & FileExtStr, fileformat:=wdFormatDocument
    End With

dest is declared as document

Please can someone help
