change shape color with a check box.

i have a form and what i want to do is when someone selects a checkbox on the form it changes the color of a shape to green, when it is unselected it returns to red.

what i have so far is two macros, that i recorded. one changes the shape to red, the other to green. i inserted a checkbox and set the macros to entry/exit. in order to click the checkbox though i need to set the protection level to "filling in forms" and when i do that and click the box it doesn't change the colors.

any help would be appreciated very much, thank you.
