What is slow about my code? Recordset to update table column

What is slow about my code?

In a lot of my projects I create functions that are entered into recordset sql as parameters. Ultimately I want to update a column in access with a custom function looping through each record, and I have not figured out the best way. As of now i am running this function through a make table query. Thanks Everyone!

Oh I forgot to mention. This is searching through 80,000 + records. It takes about 10

    Hi,

Your code looks OK. I think you need to check with query in the code. Just check if you can optimize the same.
