Current date in a calculated field of a table

    Hello,

How come Access does not allow to use the Date() function in a calculated field? I just can't use a query to do that, it has to be a field of my table. Is there any solution to add such a field?!

    Thanks

Can you explain why you need to? I can't think of any reason that could be good.
