    Importing HTML file into table

    Hi

I am new to access and have only really seen it recently to understand the powers it holds!

Anyhow, after seeing it I came up with an idea.

I currently have emails I receive in on the same format on a daily basis.

In order to keep a log of these, I was hoping to save the email as a HTML file and then have a procedure that collects all the files from a folder and load to access.

I have manually run through what I want to do, however, when I import the html file via the import external data it displays my information as the 4 seperate tables and the information does not display as how I required it.

I want these to be all in the one table with each of the headings as the column headers. (basically transposed)

Example - Transaction Type, Reference 1, Reference 2, ISIN etc will be displayed as the column headers and Sale, 7654321, 1234567, BM0000000000 etc will appear as the records within the table.

I have attached an example of the HTML file.

    Thanks
