Importing CSV with delimiters causes "Unparsable Record" error

I have a gigabyte worth of CSV files that are delimited by the | symbol. The problem I have is that some of the records are posing a problem since there are double quotes contained within. The only solution I am able to find is to manually change the records, which is rather impractical for me.

Is there some way of telling Access to disregard them? Or possibly another solution?

Could you open the csv in excel, use the text to columns function, and then save it as a spreadsheet to import into Access?
Is your code running too slowly?
Does your workbook or database have a bunch of duplicate pieces of data?

I could, but there are a few hundred CSVs that I would prefer not to have to go through...
