Report how many records were imported

I have created a script that imports an excel spreadsheet to Access. Now I'm trying to have the script tell the user how many records were imported
I have used the TransferSpreadsheet command, however everytime the user runs the command the range will be different (User picks their own file to import) so I have no idea how many records are imported

Is there any easy way of finding out how many records were imported? It is simply to inform the user what has happened
