How to connect to an Oracle Database, run a script/get external data

We have an Oracle database at work 11g. I have no problem getting a connection and querying through the SQL Developer. I would like to connect through Excel and get external data to save some time. However, when I try to connect to the Oracle Database via the Data -> Get External Data tab, I get an error message "Oracle client and networking components not found. These components are part of the Oracle version 7.3.3... Not sure what I need to install or what process that I must go through... please help. Thanks!

I followed that tutorial, but I still received that error message. I wanted to know what exactly needs to be installed.

    Hi all you.
I can hook to Oracle, get data in it to excel and make all reports on excel with the data. I use SQL language to make reports. If you want, i will guide you.
