Subtotal of detail in table by one of the elements

For every change in School District and Local Use, subtotal the Grant_Var field. I know how to do this in excel, but want to know if I can do it in Access. The fields in the table are SU#, School District, Local Use, Grant_Var. All by Grant_Var are Text fields and Grant_Var is a currency field. For a distinct SU#, School District, Local Use combination, there can be as many as for lines of Grant_Var and I need to subtotal that Grant_Var for a report. I am fairly new to Access, and am building a new report from an older one that had periodic data. I have four quarters of data combined. I am including an excel spreadsheet with the data from the table. Any suggestions?

The easiest way would be to use the Report Wizard. Just go through the steps, and when you get to the Sort Order step, select Summary Options. The results will be a canned appearance you may not like, but you can then go into design mode to adjust, or just start over if it's messed up.
