error 13 Type Mismatch with .findfirst statment

I am trying to take data from an Excel spreadsheet and update records in an Access 2010 data base. I keep getting a Run Time error 13. I have tried everything I could think or find on the web. Hopefully someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.
I am attaching all the code I am using but here are the main parts below. I get the error on this line .FindFirst [Loan Number] = LoanNo

PS: When I make a post how do you get the nice little box to insert code. Looks better than the way I am doing it.

    As you are relatively new..

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Use code tags around code.

    Posting code between
Please Login or Register to view this content.
tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, it also maintains VBA formatting.

Highlight your code and click the # icon at the top of your post window. More information about these and other tags can be found here

Thanks for telling me how to mark up the code. I looked in FAQ and couldn't find how to do it. Might want to add to FAQ.

Doug, the forum rules tell you everything you need to know:

    3. Use code tags around code. Posting code without them makes your code hard to read and difficult to be copied for testing. Highlight your code and click the [#] button at the top of the post window (if you are editing an existing post, press Go Advanced to see the [#] button). The result will appear like this in the post window:
